SAMCO Online Backup Service

SAMCO Online Backup service is a secure and reliable online add-on service for existing SAMCO Power Accounting software clients running on Linux servers. The backup service keeps a rotating 7-day backup, a 4-weekly Friday backup, a 12-month rotating backup and up to 7-years of yearly backups which are then archived for historical purposes.

SAMCO’s OBS servers are stored in multiple secure sites across Canada, further ensuring redundancy in the backup process. SAMCO caters to Power Accounting clients only to personalize this service giving the utmost reliability of the backup service.

Backup logs are emailed to clients daily with the status of their backed up data.In case of a disaster, Samco Software Inc. can ship a new Power Accounting server fully configured to their users and system printers,

as quickly as possible, and if need be, the client can go live within a few hours to one of our hosted servers temporarily for a reasonable fee until a new server arrives. SAMCO’s Hosted Clients can rest assured that their data is being backed up in exactly the same manner. SAMCO OBS is reasonably priced, and easily implemented remotely by our technicians for a one-time set up fee, plus a Prepaid Authorization Plan for a monthly prepaid fee.
